I was excited to be recently invited to join the CloudMinds, a fantastic gathering of sharp minds in cloud and adjacent areas, at one of their semi-regular thinktanks. After the event, the awesome Kevin Allen put together some notes and lo and behold included a small part of my contribution:
The word legacy has developed a bad reputation in IT. As Andi Mann, chief technology advocate for Splunk, points out, “The word legacy is really positive in every circle outside of IT. If you leave a legacy for your children, for the next generation — that’s actually a good thing.”
